Shutter Squad is a creative, confidence-boosting photography club designed especially for curious KS2 children who love to explore, create, and try new things.
Across six fun sessions, children will learn how to use real digital cameras, try exciting weekly challenges, and begin noticing the world in a more thoughtful, artistic way. From capturing textures and colours to framing portraits of their friends, each week brings a fresh theme to spark imagination.
Whether we’re outdoors making the most of seasonal changes or creating mini studio setups indoors on rainy days, every session is hands-on, fast-paced, and built with kids’ natural creativity in mind. No sitting still for long periods — just learning through play, movement and experimentation.

Yes — on Shutter Squad days, children will need to bring a packed lunch. They’ll eat this before the session begins so they can enjoy the full club time without rushing. This helps us make the most of the lunchtime window and gives the children plenty of time to get creative with their cameras.
